marine villa is a grand georgian grade II listed seaside villa with its own private seaside courtyard garden and jasmine filled summer house, on the quay, overlooking the historic harbour village of charlestown and it is decorated to the exquisitely high standards you would expect from both of us, every room has a stunning view.

t h e b e d r o o m s
the bedrooms have style, comfort and attention to detail.
marine villa has a pair of magnificent sea view bedrooms, both with super king beds and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. the master bedroom also has a small interconnecting study that can be made up as a childs room with a cot or a single or a bunk bed. the bedrooms have style, comfort and attention to detail. marine villa can sleep up to six in seaside elegance.
the sheets are the most fabulous egyptian cotton percale. the duvet, pillows and towels are the softest you can find. this house sees us bring together our eye for detail and design. it houses some of david's favourite finds - I joke that the house itself is the largest part of his collection !

the bathrooms are near perfection both with baths and powerful showers.

t h e k i t c h e n
the kitchen has all the modern appliances you would expect, washing machine/tumble dryer, gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, wifi and hopefully everything else you might need.

t h e d i n i n g r o o m
the dining room has a huge solid oak table, perfect for late lazy breakfasts or an even later candle lit supper. if the tall ships are in, you might even spot someone swinging from the crows nest !

in the sitting room there are two fabulous sofas, a fire place for real fires, a smart tv with a dvd. the house is sheltered from the bustle of the harbour by its large sculptural hedges.

or you might like to stay at home in your lovingly planted south facing garden and have some great grub delivered.

a b o u t c h a r l e s t o w n
built in the late 1700's, the tiny harbour village of charlestown is largely unchanged and has been granted UNESCO world heritage status.

the beaches, either side of the quay, are so close a toddler can make it. it is an easy stroll over the quay's lock gate to the restaurant, the pub, the wine bar, the deli, the cafe, the antiques shop and it is a 10 minute walk to the supermarket.

charlestown is approximately 15 minutes drive from both the eden project and the lost gardens of heligan and is perfectly positioned for visiting the best that cornwall has to offer, including the maritime museum in falmouth and the tate at st ives. the airport at newquay and our closest surfing beach, watergate bay, are both a 35 minute drive and it is a 10 minute drive from the mainline train station.
